How do you change your guys you fight with in army men strike?

If your gingerbread is assigned to command you cant fight with it

You will need to use Exploration officers when attacking enemy HQs. just because you have a high rank/level officer, that doesn't mean they will help you in a fight. a high level officer will, however, improve your march size.

Examples of Exploration (attack)officer include, but are not limited to

Guan Yu, Major Petrov, Mr&MrsSam, Roger, Sally, Victoria, Lucky Star, Lucky Star X, Patrick, Headless Knight, Top Player, Nur, Tornado, Ellen, Wayne, Tank Man, X (mega man), Flora X, Murphy, Lupen, Lee, Monkey King, (Edwin and Steven are good in Rallies).

Bull and Chris are good for attacking toys, not HQs.

Defensive Officers do not help you attack an HQ.

Defense Officers are great when you assign them and you get hit. Examples include;

Captain Glory, May, Robinson, Sergeant Max, Fluffy Bear, LuiBu, Nelson, Reindeer X and any other officers whose skills say "takes effect when assigned to Defense Department"

Same principles apply to other officer type (logistical, technology, military). If you aren't assigning them to the correct department, there is no point in having them.
