How do you use general gear refining material?

Once your piece of gear is at level 80 you can use 100 of the refining materials to be able to upgrade your gear another 10 levels. You will still need alloy to enhance the gears levels after that. You can also use 5 pieces of the same gear piece in place of the materials to do the same thing. After you use them and get the gear to 90 you will need more materials or gear pieces to go higher up to 100, 110, 120.
