How many troops are needed to do level 5 fanatic generals with just three people?

It really depends. I use about 200k t9 commandos and kill it everytime with 1-5 people in the rally. Always use commandos as your march time will be much faster, also have the people joining use 1 commando and EOD as they will return to base instantly.
