If I upgrade an HQ appereance will I unlock it?

You need to acquire the amount of fragments needed to make the "RED" ticket item. Once you have it you go to your inventory and click on it. Then hit "use" and it will activate that appearance. You can upgrade your appearance with other fragments, tickets, or HQ appearance EXP.
