Orange Gems - you are probably referring to fortune. Collect them from doing the Daily Quest. Fortune basically increases your chance to meet Consorts while performing Masquerade. The higher volume of fortune you have, the higher tendency you'll meet Consorts. Take note though that it usually takes 3 meet-ups (of the same consort) before your Sultan will try to propose to that pertaining Consort.

The blue amulets ???? are for fortune to increase chances of meeting consorts in masquerade. The orange gems that you get for daily tasks simply go to the top bar to fill it up. If you notice on the left there is a counter. Every time you complete a daily quest it increases.

WRONGGG. The orange stones with the arrow on them that you receive from opening chests in daily quests “Increases the chance of resource gaining as well as meeting a consort in masquerade.” - PER GOS.
