ILLUSION CONNECT Guide

Added:

Illusion Connect has a summoning system similar to other mobages. As such, you’ll encounter Banners or summoning categories where specific characters have an increased rate of possibility to be obtained. The game offers a variety of ways to summon so there’s plenty of banners to choose from. In this page, we’ll discuss the various banners that you can find in-game and where to get the tickets/ currencies needed for summoning.

What are banners?

You can see all available banners by tapping the Summon icon on the main menu. Banners are basically summon categories where the featured character or gear has a rate-up or increased chance to obtain them. Some banners also feature characters that you’re assured to get once you performed a certain number of summons cumulatively. Furthermore, there are limited-time banners and permanent banners, and those that require tickets or other summoning currencies for that matter.

As with other gacha games, summoning is all about RNG or luck. Even with rate-ups, it’s not guaranteed that you’ll get the featured character(s).

Summoning Currencies

There are several currencies or items that can be used for summoning, depending on the banner that you want to use. Here are the most common methods of summoning:

* Tickets: There are two types of ticket: Summon Ticket and Selected Ticket. They’re not interchangeable; some banners will strictly require one type or the other. The main difference is their price. Both can be purchased using Diamonds. Summon ticket costs 200 diamonds each but you can buy it for 1880 for 10 tickets. On the other hand, Selected Tickets costs 400 diamonds each. There’s no 10-ticket pack for Selected Tickets it seems.

* Gnosis Shards: These are used for the aptly named Gnosis Summon banner. It costs 300 shards per summon (3000 for a 10-summon). You can obtain these shards by doing Illusion Corridor and Dream Expedition.

* SEED Badges: These are used for the Honor Summon banner. It costs 300 badges per summon (3000 for a 10-summon). You can collect badges by participating in the Dream Arena and Ten Saints Tournament. Both are PvP modes.

* Guild Contribution (Points): These points can only be obtained when you’re part of a guild. Whenever you contribute to the guild or participate in Guild Crusade, you’ll earn a certain amount of points. It costs 300 GC per summon (3000 for a 10-summon).

Limited/ Event Banners

As mentioned above, there are different banner types. Limited banners such as the one shown below are only available for a certain amount of time. There could be multiple limited/event banners available at a time so it’s more economical to focus on the banner that contains the character you really want. These banners may require Summon Tickets or Selected Tickets.

If you tap on the “See Details” link beside the banner’s timer, you’ll see the rate-up (usually 3% for SSR, 25% for SR, and 72% for R). Furthermore, only the limited SSR partners featured for that banner will appear for your summon attempts. For the example below, the only SSRs you can get for this particular banner are Kasumi, Hersey, Miyuki, and Vivian. And among those SSR partners, there’s a 40% chance for Kasumi to appear.

You also have to take note of the promos included for certain banners. Some of them may feature a guaranteed SR after a Summon x10, while others offer a guaranteed SSR partner after two Summon x10 rolls.

Gnosis Summon Banner

Instead of tickets, this banner requires Gnosis Shards and usually features a guaranteed SSR partner who can be obtained after 100 summons on the banner. It costs 300 shards per summon (3000 for a 10-summon). You can obtain these shards by doing Illusion Corridor and Dream Expedition.

Take note that unlike other banners, there are no partners that can be obtained here (except for the featured SSR character). However, you’ll have the chance to summon SSR gears, a high amount of Gold, Nightmare Bottles, Spirit Shards, and more. This banner lasts for quite a while, usually over a month before resetting the featured character and your summon progress.

Honor Summon Banner

Instead of tickets, this banner requires SEED Badges. It costs 300 badges per summon (3000 for a 10-summon). You can collect badges by participating in the Dream Arena and Ten Saints Tournament. Both are PvP modes. This banner follows a similar system with the Gnosis Summon banner. You can’t get any new partners here but will have the chance to summon SSR Spirit Shard, Accessory, Armor, etc. This banner lasts for quite a while, usually over a month before resetting the featured character and your summon progress.

Contribution Summon

For this banner, you’ll need Guild Contribution. These points can only be obtained when you’re part of a guild. Whenever you contribute to the guild or participate in Guild Crusade, you’ll earn a certain amount of points. It costs 300 GC per summon (3000 for a 10-summon). This banner follows a similar system with the Gnosis Summon and Honor Summon banners. You can’t get any new partners here but will have the chance to summon SSR Spirit Shard, Accessory, Armor, etc. This banner lasts for quite a while, usually over a month before resetting the featured character and your summon progress.

Radiant Summon

This is the default permanent banner of the game which requires the standard Summon Ticket. Since this banner has no time limit, you have the chance to pull partners from a large pool of possibilities. The standard rates are SSR (2%), SR (13%), and R (85%). Thankfully, this banner has some sort of “pity system”, which will allow you to pull a random SSR character if you didn’t manage to get an SSR for 100 summons. This pity counter will reset whenever you get an SSR partner before the pity system triggers.

Gear Summon

This is another permanent banner for the game but will be focused on weapons and equipment. This also requires a Summon Ticket per summon, at the standard rate of SSR Gear (5%), SR Gear (25%), and R Gear (70%). You’re guaranteed to get at least 1 SR Gear for every 10 gear summons. The pity system for this banner is somewhat different, as follows:

* You’re guaranteed to get a SSR Gear within your first Summon x10. The following summons will use the standard rate mentioned above.

* You’re guaranteed to get a SSR Gear when doing four Summon x10.

So that’s all about the different banners in the game. Don’t hesitate to summon based on your preferences and the availability of the required currencies.
