How to Advance Character Stars
Crossing Void - Global Guide
Character Stars sets the level cap of the character’s skills. Character Level alone doesn’t determine the character’s strength; their skills should be upgraded for them to remain relevant and useful as you tackle harder battles. In this page, we will discuss why advancing character stars are necessary and how to do it.
All characters start off at 1-star. At that level, you can’t upgrade any of their skills. At 2-star, you can upgrade their skills up to LV5. Once they reach 3-stars, skills can be upgraded up to LV10 and their ATK Up passive skill is unlocked as well. At 4-stars, skills can be upgraded to LV15 and the DEF UP passive will be unlocked, and so on.
Here are the steps for advancing a character’s star. First, open the character’s profile page and tap the star portion of the character’s profile.
In the next screen, you’ll see if the character has met the minimum level requirement and if you have the required materials for the process. Once you’ve met the requirements, press the Advance button. As you can see, advanced characters will have immediate stat boosts.
As you advance characters to higher stars, the required materials and level requirement will go up as well. Not only that, there will be advance tiers. In the example below, before you can advance a character to 3-stars, you have to submit the required materials for 3 tiers. Don’t worry since your character will still get stat boosts for every tier advanced. However, your skill levels will still be capped until you completely advance to the next star.
At higher stars, the number of tiers you need to upgrade and the quality of materials needed increase to. It’s easy to advance a character to 2-stars and 3-stars but it will start becoming a steep climb upgrading characters to 4-stars and above.
