Why is it that my gems I earn always dissapear, as I never use them for anithing I had 7400 gems now..

Why is it that my gems I earn always dissapear, as I never use them for anithing I had 7400 gems now I have 4940 gems and I collect some more and when I login there gone. It took I while befor I noticed it. So it is longer. I think it is alsoo with other recourses?
Check your resources lists maybe you earned but not yet converted for use in the resources backpack . Or you are accidentally pressing the diamond option when you try upgrading without resources , you need to cover the resource shortfall from the backpack not by using diamonds or you used a speed up option but no time is left so you were charged diamonds
