Christmas Tree and Runaway Reindeer

These 2 events in Rise of Empires are the time limited Christmas themed events for this year. The main event is the Christmas Tree event and the Reindeer have also been added to help you with the Tree. As with other events you will need to make sure your game is updated to the latest version for it to unlock.

Runaway Reindeer

During the Event time you will find a new enemy to attack in the world map, the runaway Reindeer. These enemies are available to attack as with the other monsters in the world, although for the purposes of the event you are capturing them to return to Santa.

All the Reindeer are level 1 enemies so will be easy to defeat for even low level players. Defeating them will reward you with gold and the special Christmas items that you need for the Christmas Tree.

Please note that there is a daily limit to the number of the Christmas items you can earn in a day. So its a good idea to keep an eye on the mail reports of your monster battles to see when you stop receiving these.

Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree is a new decoration/building that you can place in your city and then decorate. You may need to built the architecture Institute building first and then unlock the tree in the Decoration section. You can then Find the tree in the Build menu under 'Decoration'.

Place the tree in your city and you can the tap on it to view the tree. The tree has decorations to unlock which you need to use the new collectable Christmas items for. These items can be gained by killing monsters in the world map and mainly from attacking the runaway Reindeer as above. There is a daily limit on how many you can gain.

Items you can collected will be shown below the tree and you can tap to apply them. As the decorations unlock you can then tap each to claim the prices which include Exp, Gold, Resources and more.

The tree itself has 3 levels that you can upgrade as you complete each set of decorations and will then give another set of rewards.
