Can anyone help? I cannot build iron mine inside castle walls (no room) Even though it says outside castle unlock at chapter 5 it will not unlock.

Not easy to explain, but the best thing to do is:
Be sure that all your workers are free.
click on your castle (inside the wall) - click on change layout - click on apply layout - Game will ask to unlock a new zone, do that.
Repeat from change layout (and unlock new zone) until your layout will be changed.
After this, you will unlock new iron mines spot and you'll be able to place them.
