Is Amazon Coin allowed?

Is Amazon Coin allowed? This is where you buy coins for money and then make purchases in game. Almost like loading your money through google play. Just wondering because my account was recently banned for it and wondering it was an accident because she said it was their error not mine. When I purchased I didn't actually recieve the items, reported it they were going to give me the items and apologized... then banned with no explanation.
