So battle days are Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Depending on where you are in the world, however, your battle time may actually occur on another day of the week. For example, I'm on the west coast of the US, and when my alliance battles at reset on Tuesday, it's 7pm on Monday for me. It's possible for another alliance to force declare on you so long as you are not a) in battle and b) in your truce timer window. Battle time options are at reset (00:00 game time, 7pm PST), +8 (08:00 game time, 3am PST), and +16 (16:00 game time, 11am PST). If you are force declared on, and none of your people were online, that may be how they were able to destroy your AC3, and how it happened on a Wednesday.
