I found an account I started a while back. It's been attacked but a ton of resources in the bag before I kinda knew how to play. I got it up and running but it's well ahead of what I am doing now. What would you do? I can hide and grow? Should I look for an alliance?

If you are going to play the account then you definitely need an alliance. Even if you join a small one to get going, you will get more rewards being in an alliance and will need help with some events. If you grow and find your alliance is not good enough then move to a better one.
