The only way to raid gold from other players is if you are a Raider class player and you use the class legion to attack (the other 3 legions do not take gold).

You can also only take gold if the player you are attacking has gold available above any level of depot protection.

I'm not raider but can rob gold due 'Bauer effect'. I don't know how I got this
