How do I use less serum to heal my troops during roc?

Serum is only used to speed up the healing. The only way to use less apart from not speeding up the process is to set your specialty points in the blue section to the right and choose the options that let you increase the healing speed. This way when you are healing troops the time needed will be less and you will not need as many serum items to speed it up.
