When you send workers to explore just outside the town and you can see items have been found e. G items that can be sold for gold where do these items go to be stored? Regarding, game rises of empires.

Items you gain from exploring are placed in your inventory / item bag. This is found by tapping the menu icon to expand the menu in the lower right and then tap on the bag icon.
Look for items such as Mead, Flail, Ancient Relic etc. Tap on them to get the option to 'Sell'.
