Once I have recruited heroes, how do I activate, station, replace weaker/unfavorable heroes.
I cant even station a hero at town hall, barracks, training fields. I'm still playing with the free heroes. Town hall is at 6, bar is at 11, castle is at 16.
Combat heroes need to be stationed in the legions (training grounds or legion list menu). But you have to unlock the slots for up to 3 heroes for each legion by doing the research for them.
Production/development heroes are stationed in the Town hall. You have to upgrade the town hall to increase the amount of 'Cost Capacity' points that you have available to let you station more and better heroes. In the town hall 'Station' screen you can 'Recall' heroes that you don't want to be stationed any more and you will also see any others that you have available to station.
So, focusing on heroes is almost pointless until slots open and slots will open through research.
Q. Can I hold my hero recruit tickets until then? Or should I continue recruiting every Thursday?
When I recruit I am receiving the same heroes. Some are different but mostly not.
Getting the same heroes over and over is normal. They are automatically exchanged for "hero medals". At your arena, you can click Exchange to exchange some of the hero medals for Wisdom medals that are used to level up their skills.
