AppGamer Answered:

The demolition value is based on your troops. Each type of troop has a different amount of demolition value and higher level troops will have better demo.

Footmen offer the best demolition value so use them if you are just trying to cause the most damage. And use the highest level troops you can.

Hero skills (1 and 6) and upgrading the training grounds will let you have more troops in the formation.

I have T9 cavalry. Demolition value is only 466. Can it be higher? If not I guess they are useless in roc?

Footmen have a higher demo value than cavs. Footmen are very important for RoC.
