Hello, I'm playing 2nd day on a new state. Why the schedule from the "initial schedule of daily events" page isn't like the schedule that I have in the game?

For the first week or so there will be another version of daily challenges, where some of them last for 8 hours. After this period, the initial daily challenge schedule on this website is fully correct. I don't think the first week's schedule is documented anywhere.
