I accidentally deleted a gate. I tried to build a new one but I could only put it in the middle of an existing wall and I still have a missing, open section. How do I fix this?

Go to build>build wall
Build the wall by dragging in the missing area. After wall is built, click on the portion of the wall u want to build gate. It will show u the option to build gate, unless u have exhausted all the gates that can b built in your province.
