After a dragon reaches level 20, how do you gain closeness?

After a dragon reaches level 20, how do you gain closeness? I'm not talking about power of belief. I'm talking about closeness which is what speeds up your builders and helps build building faster. It used to be by feeding it meat, but now I dont know how.

My dragon is at level 20. It says I've reached the cap and must level up. The bars are full to level up but it's stuck.

I also had my red dragon stuck at lvl 20 but as you level up ur castle things will be unlocked u will get the black dragon which is used for attacks at level C 19, and your red dragon features wil be unlocked before u reach C19 half way. That red dragon will open it's features once it reached lvl 100 and the black dragon will be useful right away once you unlock it you will know better

I am a C15 With a lvl 33 Red Dragon. You need to keep feeding it. Also explore with your dragon, click on your dragon and hit explore. You gets TONS of great dragon xp, gems, food...

I have 4 accounts. I know about feeding the dragon and exploring with it. My highest one is level 40.

But the account I've developed most slowly is stuck at level 20. I can explore, but it won't go up to level 21. It says the dragon cap is reached.

This is a real issue, not a newbie misunderstanding.

Ah ... go back to the dragon menu where you would feed him. Tap the circle a few times ... see if some 'magic' doesn't give you a bigger dragon!
