I am trying to unlock an area that I have a green checkmark signifying that it is ready to be unlocked...

I am trying to unlock an area that I have a green checkmark signifying that it is ready to be unlocked. But when I try to, it gives me an error of "area unlockable at chapter 5". What do I have to do in order to move forward?

I also had this problem so

1st: click menu, click the 3 dots

2nd: click options

3rd: click "show quest tips on the main interface"

4th: spam that button a few times but make sure to leave it at open

5th: you should be okay now. If not idk how to help.

Finish the tasks on the bottom left hand corner to finish chapters

You need to level up your castle to unlock a new area. When you click on the lock it should say what castle level unlocks that area.

My castle is in now level 6. But, still I unlock the area. It's saying you can unlock the area by spending resources.

I ported to the hammer and green check mark flashing and then it turned my name and castle green and did nothing else but now the flashing lights are gone what is it for

I’m having the same problem and I’m also on castle level 6!!!! It’s says I can unlock it it gives me the green tick but won’t allow me to move any further....what can I do to move on

I was having this problem, I had to go into settings then option, once in option make sure the quest tips setting is turned on and then up can see the characters in the bottom left corner.

It seems many hit this roadblock and rise of empires is losing a lot of business by not fixing it. It’s been 6 months of complaints. I have no choice but to walk away.

Is there a difference between CHAPTER AND LEVEL in this game?
Says it opens at CHAPTER 5 my castle is at LEVEL 7
