Tap the alliance icon in the expanded menu in the lower right (alliance icon is the crossed swords). If you are not in an alliance already then you will get the option to join one. If you are in an alliance then you will need to leave it first.

I got an invitation letter to join an alliance, clicked Join but it says something about my quit timer. I thought I could join another alliance right away? 0 0 REPORT
