I do not understand the impact of the intimidate skill of the orange hero rogue. Many times rogue has no kills in the battle reports

The intimidate skill will reduce the amount of damage that the enemy does to you during the first 4 turns of the battle. It does not increase your kills but should reduce the enemy damage to you.
The skill has a range of 4 so to make sure it is as effective as possible place this hero in the middle row.
