So I keep getting this : the building construction has reached it's cap, and so I am unable to build..

So I keep getting this : the building construction has reached it's cap, and so I am unable to build any walls. Please help out.?

There are restrictions on the number of each type of building you can place in the city. Most are 1 of each only some let you unlock more as you level up. But there are no 'walls' to build in this game. Are you playing a different game?

There’s has got to be “walls” in som sense because I get the same message regarding the Alliance hall that I waited to build until I joined an Alliance. I must have passed some unknown limit because now I can’t build it.
