Who are the best hero to let go / split in Rise of Empires?

As you level up then any green, blue and eventually purple combat heroes can be split. For orange heroes you will probably want to keep as many of these as you can. A few will be specialised to certain troop types though and if you don't use those troops regularly then you may not need to keep them around. If you need wisdom medals you can choose to split them too.
