There are empty plots which we can occupy in world map?

There are empty plots which we can occupy in world map? does that mean my legion can rest there and recover power? And if i want to kill any monster/gather resources, that plot becomes their location of return?

You can camp on plots in the world map, or occupy them during the reign of chaos events and also camp on them if you wish. But you can then only recall them to your castle It does not become a new starting point to send them out from or return to.
