How do I gather stone to build a resource station out in the world?

Stone block can be bought from the Alliance store. You need to donate resources to the alliance to get contribution points. You can then used these points to by Stone Block (item is called Bunch o Rocks).

During Reign of chaos events you can also earn it from occupying plots and killing the Wight King special monsters.
