How to repair my castle after an attack

After an attack your castle / city will burn for 30 minutes, it will then start to repair itself slowly. You can wait for this to finish or if you want to recover your durability more quickly go to the Fortress building and select the 'Defense' option. Here you can pay gems to restore your durability immediately.
