What buildings should be moved away from roads?

You can unattached all buildings but resources and stores and 1 medical camp must be attached.

What about houses?

If you put houses off-road, your population will drop. This will probably have an effect on your gold production.
All medical camps can be put off-road, but it is much more practical to have one attached to road
