If I split hero, what benefit I can get? Where does his skill points go? can I use again in another hero?

When you split heroes they will be deleted but you will get back a large portion of the wisdom medals that you may have spent on their skills as well as some gold if depending on how much you have unlocked on it. You also get a hero medal which can be used to exchange for more wisdom medals or to let you unlock skills for other heroes.
