Not sure if you meant honor points. Honor points would be used in Reign of Chaos to increase your specialty level. You can use there at any time.

Thursday is Hero development day for Clash of Province. If you can keep hold of Hero recruitment tickets and hero Exp items until then it will help you earn more points on that day in the daily challenges and CoP event.
