Alliance Showdown
Puzzles & Survival Guide
The alliance showdown event in Puzzles & Survival is an event that appears from time to time and requires all of the alliance members to contribute to help each other to gain rewards. Your alliance will need to have at least 20 members and you will need to have reached HQ level 15 to take part.
This is a 7 day event during which time all members of the alliance have the opportunity to select and complete quests. The quests will appear and change over time and you will need to accept one to get started. Once you accept one you cannot accept any more until you complete it or cancel it. Cancelling it though will still count towards one of your limited attempts.
Leagues
The event now has a league system with 4 levels, Pro, Veteran, Elite and Star. Alliances will be placed in a league for each event and at the end the top 5 will be promoted up while the bottom 5 will be demoted. The league you are in will determine how many rewards are on offer and how many quests you can attempt during the event.
Pro League - 15 phases of rewards available - players can attempt up to 8 quests
Veteran League - 20 phases of rewards available - players can attempt up to 9 quests
Elite League - 25 phases of rewards available - players can attempt up to 10 quests
Star League - 30 phases of rewards available - players can attempt up to 11 quests
Quests
The quests will vary in terms of difficulty, time limit and also in the points they award. They will include options such as Gathering resources, using diamonds, transporting resources, training troops etc. The points are added to an alliance total when you complete the quest. At the end of the event the alliance points total will entitle all members who have taken part to claim rewards.
Hints and Tips for Alliance Showdown
Initially a few quests will appear and over time more will be presented. This is a long event so you do not need to rush and grab the first one that you see. Some will hopefully be possible for you to complete quite easily but others will be difficult.
Pay attention to the required total and also the time limit for the quest. You may be keen to train troops for example but you must make sure to hit the target number before the time runs out. If you don't have enough speed ups it could cost you.
If you have made a mistake and taken on a quest that you cannot complete then you can cancel it. It will lose you a quest slot but you can move on and select a better one for you to do to get the points.
The quest list is there for all alliance members to choose from so you may want to check with them in the chat who is looking for certain quests. This is an alliance event and you can only earn rewards based on how the whole alliance performs.
