Trials Guide

The Trials in Sea of Conquest are a campaign mode that you can play through to earn rewards. Completing stages in this mode is also a requirement in some of the early game missions.

The trials fights are a close quarters combat mode that lets you assign a number of your own heroes (depending on the level) against a range of enemies of different levels. It is turn base combat which will progress automatically but give you control over the sue of your heroes skills.

Pick your squad

At the start of each round you can assign the heroes you want to use. You should consider the skills of the heroes you have to make a good team, you can try different setups to see what works best. Choosing the strongest heroes that you have (listed on the left of the screen) is a good start, but making sure to include a support hero for healing and those that specialize in firepower and also defense can have advantages.

Use the skills

Skills require a set amount of Rage to use, you will see the numbers for each hero on the screen above their images on the bottom right. Your Rage is shown in the bottom center and will build over time as you fight. More powerful skills tend to need more rage to trigger.

When you have enough rage tap the hero avatar you want to use and they will launch their skill attack or effect on the next turn.

Some skills also have a cool down so after you use them you may need to wait for some time before you can use them again, even if you have enough rage.

Claim Rewards

Each round that you pass will award you with items based on your performance, you can earn up to 3 stars depending on how well you do.

The stars you warn will also add up to additional rewards that you can claim by tapping the treasure chest on the bottom right.

AFK rewards

Also on the right you will see a gold dish that will accumulate Soul stones over time. The rate that they accumulate at will increase as you get further in the Trials. Claim these from time to time. The souls stone are then used to level up your heroes.

Hints

• Any level that you do not complete all 3 stars on you can retry again to claim all the rewards.
• While fighting you can tap on any individual enemy to make your squad target them as a priority. This can help you clear difficult enemies first.
• Remember to use the healing skills of any support heroes you have to keep your own team members alive during the combat.
