How to Earn Gold Fast in Sea of Conquest

The following are the best ways to earn gold in Sea of Conquest. You may also find gold drops from some activities and other special events in the game, but these are the most reliable.

Trading & Smuggling

One of the most simple methods to make gold is to buy and sell through the trading in the game. The basic concept is to buy goods in one port and sell them in another for a profit. The ability to set up Auto trading means that you can use this to your advantage to earn gold when you are not online playing and doing this regularly will be the key to earning large amounts of gold every day.

Smuggling is very similar but you can only do this a limited amount each day, the profits are large though so it is a good ides to smuggle when you can.

We have an in depth Guide to Trading and Smuggling with help and tips on making the most money.

Plundering

As an addition to Trading you can also plunder other vessels on the sea to get good to then sell in the ports. Armed Freighters / Patrols have a very limited number of goods on them to plunder, but the Merchant ships will have plenty to earn you some gold and other players can also be raided to earn gold and grab some of their goods if they are carrying them.

Note though that sinking Merchant ships and other players will increase your Infamy in the game and possibly place a bounty on your head. Players with a bounty are shown on the map and will become a target as you will drop extra gold if they defeat you.

Treasure Maps

One more way to grab yourself a booty of valuable goods is to find sunken treasure. These can be stumbled across as you sail the seas or more easily located using Treasure maps.

The maps themselves are obtain in several ways with the most common being the exploration of the map you are in. Each season will bring you to a new map with new areas to explore and more maps to find.

Make sure to sail far and wide as the map unlocks and discover ports. Your limit here is the Golden compass, an Artifact that both lets you full discover a port and also locate the sunken treasure. You can only use this 20 times per day so you will need to make sure you use this effectively every day to grab all the gold you can.

Once you locate a ship wreck with the compass you can fill your hold with the goods on board and travel to a nearby port to sell them. Gold (legendary) maps will lead you to larger hauls of higher quality goods, while the Purple and blue maps will have less items to sell.
