Rogue's Rumble Guide
More Sea of Conquest
Rogue's Rumble is another turn based combat feature of Sea of Conquest that shares similarities with the Trials. The difference though is that it is an arena style combat against other players.
Available to play every day you ca find it by tapping on your avatar on the top left and then select the Rogue's Rumble option. Once in the first thing you need to do if you haven't already is set up a Defense lineup. This is the team of your heroes that other players will face if they match up with you in the event.
Pick a good strong team and remember to return here and update it if your best hero lineup changes in future.
You can then pick 5 opponents everyday to challenge. You will get a list of random opponents to choose from, and you can also refresh this list up to 3 times a day for free if you don't like any of the those offered to you. (extra refreshes costs 50 Emeralds)
The arena rankings are sent in a number of Tiers. You start out in the Rotten Wood Skull Tier and as you win rounds and score points you will rise up the tiers. The tiers are listed as:
- Rotten Wood Skull
- Iron Skull
- Bronze Skull
- Silver Skull
- Golden Skull
- Bloodthirsty Skull
Each tier also has sub divisions e.g. Silver Skull III, II and I.
When you challenge a player the points you can gain will depend on if they are above of below you in the Tier Rankings.
Each fight is Automated, it is turn based combat as in the Trials but you do not have any control over the use of Skills. You can watch the fight take place or you can tap the Skip option to just see the result.
Rogue's Rumble Rewards
Everyday you will be able to claim a daily reward, This will be Rogue's Coin and the amount you get will depend on the tier you have reached.
Each match up that you win will also reward you with Rogue's Coins.
There are also season rewards to be claimed every few weeks depending on your position in the tiers.
You can then Tap on the Rogue's Retailer option to go to a specific market to spend the coins on useful items.
Rogue's Rumble Hints
Make sure that you update your Defense lineup to reflect your strongest team. If other players come up against an out of date team and can beat you easily then you will drop in the rankings.
Choose your opponents carefully. Check the opposing team for their hero levels by tapping on challenge to see them. You do not have to accept the fight and can back up and check other opponents this way to find the best chance of winning.
Teams with 5 even heroes seem to do better than a team with 1 or 2 high level heroes only. But you will need to see what you do best against with your own heroes.
Keep leveling up your heroes and where possible increasing their rank to give them more skills and strength.
