Gang Guide

Your Gang in Sea of Conquest is very important to making progress in the game. The same as an Alliance in other similar games, the Gang lets you join up with a group of other players to help each other and to offer some protections from rivals.

Gang Benefits

There are many benefits to being in a gang which mainly involve gaining more rewards, you will also have a team of hopefully friendly players who will be able to help, offer advice and support your own development.

Speedup help

When you start a build upgrade or Stargazing this will automatically allow other gang members to help you, Helps will speed up your progress. The number of times you can be helped for each project will depend on the level of the Liaison Office room in your boat.

Salary

As part of a gang you can claim a salary every day. This is found in the Gang Menu by tapping on the Influence number on the left. There will be a red dot if you haven't collected it yet.

Stash

Any purchases made by yourself or other gang members will grant rewards to be found in the Stash

Savviness

The Savviness is a gang research that you can help by providing speedups to for each item that is researched. Completing these will increase your gangs influence and give you more options for controlling the seas.

To perform the Savviness research you will need to help the gang by donating gold or resources as needed for each item.

Gang Market

A specific in game shop where you can spend the gang Seals that you get from donations and gang missions.

Gang Missions

These are a list of missions that will refresh from time to time. Some you can complete on your own, but others you will need to complete together with other gang members. Each mission completed gives you Gang Seals to spend in the Gang Market.

Gang Donation

Donation is very important to the progress of a gang. You are able to donate resources and gold to the gang which will then let the gang leaders invest in the Savviness research. In return for donating you will receive Gang Seals which you can spend in the Gang Market

Gang Turf

Gang Turn is the Territory that the Gang has taken over in the seas. This includes Sentry towers, Strongholds, Ports and Passes.

To begin the Gang needs to attack and conquer a stronghold in the seas, they can hen take sentry towers to extend their territory out to other locations and then take ports when they arrive at them. The next goal it to reach a pass that will allow access to a wider area of sea beyond the initial starting area.

Each Gang will have a limit to the number of each of these locations that they can control In some case this allocation can be increased through Savviness research.

Taking ports is very useful as it allows you to appoint officers there and control the trade. Your gang can trade there with no taxes

Joining a Gang

You can view a list of gangs that are available, If the gang is listed as Free entry then you can join it immediately. Some gangs will require that you apply as they may have power requirements before that will let you in.

You can also only join gangs that are in 'Seas' that are open to you. When you start playing you will be restricted to 1 sea area and the gangs that are in it. Once gates are opened to new seas then you can move to join a gang in the new area.

You also have the option to start your own gang. For players with a Flagship below level 9 this will cost 400 Emeralds. Above level 9 it is free.

How to Leave a Gang

To leave your current gang so that you can join another one you need to open the Gang Menu screen and then tap on Gang Settings. Here you will find the Option to 'Exit' the gang.
