Yoga Hobby

The Yoga Hobby can be accessed upon reaching Player Level 17 in Sims Mobile. Apart from the high player level requirements and an empty space in your house to place the mat in, there isn’t much difficulties in getting into Yoga in the game. The only prob.ably difficulty you might encounter with this hobby is if you have placed the mat in a wrong place, or if you suddenly had the need to transfer it to another location.

For a lot of people, picking up the Yoga mat on the floor (or other floor lying objects) can get pretty frustrating. To get you through this bump, check out our Interface guide to guide you towards learning about the game’s “Build Mode”.

Similar to other hobbies, to get into Yoga, what you’ll need is a basic item to access its practice sessions. For yoga beginners, you’ll have to have the Namaste Yoga Mat. Purchasing one is pretty simple, just go to your catalogue collections (icon on top of the Quest button), and when you get there, you can go to the “Hobby Collections”, and then the Yoga collections.

Yoga Hobby

See to it that there is space in your house to actually put the yoga mat in (which actually takes quite a bit of floor space). Be reminded that practice sessions do not happen autonomously, and so you’d still have to actually start them just like career shifts.

To start on a Hobby Event, you’ll have to pick the sim you wish to perform the particular hobby. Click on the sim (making sure he/she isn’t currently engaging on any other event), and then click on the “Namaste Yoga Mat” to start a practice session. If for instance you can’t start an event, it is plausible that there is no proper access to the mat itself (probably with no direct access towards the mat, or sometimes, people actually forget to put doors leading to their activity rooms). If so, the practice session would be grayed out and would insist to meet a pertaining requirement.

As you progress through the chapters of the Yoga Hobby, you’ll eventually unlock other items related to the hobby itself. Since the hobby is all about relaxation and exercise, it would make sense that the stuff you’ll be able to unlock are relevant items like Soothing Candles, Incense, Bamboo Decor, and a Zen Waterfall.

Chapters are played out similar to your career or relationship events. Here, your options are called “Practice Sessions”. There is an equivalent quick, standard, and long practice sessions, which rewards you with hobby points instead of career points. The chapters and your skill levels work the same as that of your career stories. Every time you get to a new chapter in a particular hobby, there will be some sort of starter events -- that will be played out similar to your typical practice session.

As you advance through the chapters of a hobby, you'll eventually unlock better practice sessions -- that should get you more hobby points for just the same amount of time. Take note though that they are similar in terms of the wait duration when you will have a sim do the hobby autonomously. If you choose to micro-manage instead, you'll see that when you use the quick practice sessions with higher rewards, it'll take more than 30 energy to actually finish them -- even if the wait time is only less than an hour long.

Quick Practice Session - rewards 30 Hobby points (usually an hour)

Standard Practice Session - rewards 90 Hobby points (usually 3-4 hours)

Long Practice Session - rewards 180 Hobby points (usually 6-8 hours); becomes available at Skill Level 4 in Hobby.

Quick Practice Session (with higher rewards) - becomes available at Skill Level 6 in Hobby, rewards 75 Hobby points.

Standard Practice Session (with higher rewards) - becomes available at Skill Level 7 in Hobby, rewards 225 Hobby points.
