The Sims™ Mobile Guide
Getting started in the SIMs mobile is just as easy as starting up in any SIMs game and that involves customizing your personal SIM.
Admittedly there are moments when customizing a SIM may be overwhelming but in this game, players who are excited to get on with the game can go ahead with a default SIM character—complete with a full name too!
Settling In
As soon as you’re done customizing your SIM, you are immediately transported to your house. And just like any newcomer, you are greeted by an emtpy house craving for new furniture and a personal touch. As the game progresses, you will be guided on the common ways to interact with the environment—and moving around—by tidying up the rest of the items in your living room.
Once the living room is all neat and tidy, you will be asked to pick what room to fix next: the bathroom or the bedroom.
At this moment you have the option to add more furniture but of course with only a very limited budget. The moment you run out of money, the next part of getting started in the game comes into play: and that involves working.
First Job High
Righ after fixing up at home, you may begin your first job. While you may not have a long list of career options available, starting on your career to earn money is pretty straightforward here. All you have to do is proceed to Parkside and then tap on the Briefcase icon floating on the coffee shop. To unlock a new place, you'll usually have to pay a sum of resources (usually Simoleons). In this case however, the tutorial course got you covered as unlocking the Cafe is free of charge.
Doing this will unlock and enable you to play the "Barista Career" story.
To begin a work event, tap on the Pink Star Icon pin and continue to select other work options by tapping on the Star Icon and then selecting an option you wish to take. Completing any event, whether it is a work or relationship event, entails a cost. And this involves the amount of energy you have left to fulfil each action.
Relationships
Aside from the career, one of the main tasks of playing SIMs Mobile is building relationships by completing friendship or romantic events.
While you may have zero friends in the beginning, this should not be a challenge since the only thing you will have to do is approach any SIM walking around the park, your office-place, and even outside your home and start a conversation.
At the beginning of an interaction, you may determine the kind of relationship you will have with him/her. So whether it will be a friendly one, a romantic one, or even a confrontational one. It will be entirely up to you.
During your first 30 (or so) minutes playing, the game will run you through its basic tutorial course -- which details much of the things you can do in the game (especially on a daily basis). It will also guide you how to make the most of out of your time, and introduce you towards the need of upgrading your lifestyle, and the general idea of gaining some sort of progress in the game. This includes constantly updating your style, constant socialization, the need to attend or throw out parties, earning resources, getting promotion at work, purchasing furniture and appliance for your home, building a relationship with another sim, and what not.
