Why a Sim Gets Suggested in a Party?

It may have occurred to you that some of your sims are labeled as "Ideal Attendees" in some of the parties that you've been looking into. Why do they get suggested in these parties? And why not in other parties?

To answer the question, you must have a proper introduction to hobbies. When a particular person throws a party, everything in his/her house would generally benefit the attendees. That said, if a particular house party has a hobby-related equipment or item which your current sim would gain a benefit in (most plausible cause is that the sim you have is into that hobby as well). Not limited to this, specific traits in the game would generally benefit party goers such as sims with the trait "Good Upbringing" which are technically good at all events or "Party Animal" which get bonus Party XP every now and then when at parties.

Nonetheless, if you see this icon (check the image above) when you are trying to look for parties to attend, give it a go -- since your sims would generally benefit better in this parties.

In relation to this subject, this is exactly how you make your parties sell better to other players of the game (to increase participation and ultimately increase the party level). When people choose your parties over other people's places, you generally get a better chance of earning a higher level of party. Higher party levels are given higher rewards. Simply put, try to get people to attend your parties. To actually sell them though, you've got to have plenty of beneficial and hobby-inclined equipment/items at home.
