How to upgrade weapons?

To upgrade weapons in Fortnite 2 you need to find an upgrade station and have enough of the materials needed for an upgrade. So you'll need wood, brick and metal, the amount you need will depend on the level of the upgrade or sidegrade. The higher the quality of weapon, the more expensive the upgrade will be.

When you have a weapon to upgrade, go to the upgrade station, you find them all over the map, and follow the instructions, which vary from device to device. For example on PC, just hold down E if you are during the default keyboard layout.
