04: Itza Ruin
Alien Creeps TD Guide
Campaign
Waves: 5
Starting Energy: 1000

In this map, you'll get a chance to use Skybolt, an airborne hero. His level is maxed so it will be a good idea to place him in the front lines. There are also three tower slots that are blocked as well. Remove the rubble in the slot near the checkpoint and place two Infantry towers there. Move their spawn points in the middle of the bottleneck. Place a laser tower in the slot by the bottleneck then clear the rubble on the other slot on the southwest. Place a rocket tower there. Now place another pair of rocket and laser towers in the two slots in the midde right, so they can target enemies coming from both paths. Skybolt will do a good job in providing supporting fire from the air. A new opening by the ruins will be opened eventually, allowing more enemy troops to pour in past your initial defenses. Make sure that you have a tower placed beside it and by this time, your troops are upgraded as well.
Among the new enemies you'll encounter is the Wraith, which are invisible from towers but can be detected by infantry. This is why you need two infantry barracks to have more troops to detect and kill these enemies. Next, you have to wary of airborne units called Hornets. Your towers can engage them and fortunately, you have Skybolt to assist you in air-to-air combat. Your other heroes and normal soldiers can't engage them so you have to rely on your towers to shoot them down. MG towers are excellent against them so have a few of them scattered along the paths to destroy the hornets or whittle their HP down enough to be picked off easily by your other towers.
Finally, a heavily armored Juggernaut will appear in the battlefield. Concentrate your firepower on this powerful creep to take it down.
Completing the campaign will unlock Challenges 1 to 7.

You have lesser tower slots here compared to the campaign mode. In addition, you can only use Rocket and Laser towers. Furthermore, you don't have Skybolt anymore so unless you have a second hero, this is going to be tough. It may be a good idea to to call in reinforcements to bolster your blockade in the bottleneck. It will be a good idea to upgrade the laser towers first since they're cheaper to upgrade and they can deal potent damage to any single target. In the last two waves, you'll encounter Juggernauts so having powerful lasers at this time will prove to be a worthy investment.

You'll have the same number of tower slots as in the campaign but their positions are rearranged and two of them are blocked. You need to clear the rubble on the spot neares to the checkpoint and place an infantry tower there. Consider placing a rocket tower beside the infantry tower, a laser tower in the middle, and a MG tower in the southwest slot. From there, you can scatter the other offensive towers in the other slots. Just make sure you don't place the same towers beside each other if possible, to maximize effectiveness.
