Alchemy Stars is a strategic roleplaying game featuring a diverse cast of characters that you can recruit. You might be wondering which units are viable, or perhaps you’ll want to get to know more about the potential of strong units. With different star ratings in the game, one of the best recruits that you can get are 6-Star characters.

There are four main elemental attributes that are available in Alchemy Stars. You can have attributes for Forest, Fire, Thunder, and Water. These have different 6-Star units that you can choose from. In this page, we’ll be checking more about the Water attribute character named Raphael.

Here, we’ll be checking out Raphael profile, skills, equipment, and breakthrough bonuses. We hope that this page will help you out learn more about this character in case you will try to get them in your team. Let’s check what’s in store upon acquiring this character.

Raphael

Profile

ProfileDescription
NameRaphael

RoleSupport
Primary AttributeWater
Secondary AttributeWater

Note: You might notice that the profile describes a secondary attribute. Whenever you recruit an Aurorian for the first time, you’ll be able to view their primary attributes only. The secondary attribute is only acquired once you have obtained the max level of Ascension. Legendary Aurorians come with their max ascension level however. We also didn’t include their Atk, Def, and HP since the values can change over time depending on the game updates.

In Alchemy Stars, Raphael is a Water unit with a Support role. As such, the skills that you’ll be able to obtain will let you support your allies through your active and chain skills. There are a variety of support types in the game, and some can heal while others can debuff. Raphael is a Support that can provide heals with her active skill and she can have effects to tiles that aren’t blue.

Skills

SkillDescription
Active SkillRecovers the team's HP by 200% of Raphael's ATK. Resets all non-Blue tiles.
Skill Cooldown4 Rounds
Chain Combo (5 tiles)Deals 125% damage to 1 column.
Chain Combo (9 tiles)Deals 125% damage to 3 columns.
Chain Combo (13 tiles)Deals 140% damage to 3 columns.

Raphael can provide you with a mix of healing support, as well as supplementary damage thanks to her chain combo skills. Within every four rounds, you’ll be able to heal your team as well as reset non-blue tiles. Healing is important especially if you are aiming for all stage rewards since a lot of them require you to have 50% hp and above.

When chaining water tiles, Raphael can provide damage up to 3 columns. The damage modifier isn’t that high since she’s a support character, but it can still add up especially if you have other Water Aurorians that fight alongside your blue chains.

Equipment

EquipmentDescription
Equipment SkillEach Blue tile generated on the map recovers the team's HP by 1.5% of Raphael's HP. The lower the team's HP, the higher the healing effectiveness, up to an additional 100% bonus.

Raphael excels further in healing thanks to her equipment skill. Depending on the map, each blue tile can provide extra heals, this can be useful when trying to sustain damage. This is dependent on how much blue tiles are available, therefore having converters can help with the effectiveness.

Later stages of the game can become challenging, so you’ll want to have as much healing as possible. Take note that her healing is effective thanks to blue tiles, so you might want to consider about which elements you will use on your team.

Breakthrough Bonuses

BreakthroughDescription
Breakthrough 1HP increased by 300.
Breakthrough 2DEF increased by 40.
Breakthrough 3Active Skill Enhancement: Changes Active Skill to Preemptive Strike. Available upon entering combat.
Breakthrough 4Increased by 300+5% Basic max HP.
Breakthrough 5Increased by 40+5% Basic DEF.
Breakthrough 6Active Skill Enhancement: Has an increased chance to generate Blue tiles when generating new tiles.

Raphael’s support role is improved once you maximize her breakthrough levels. Since your active skill can be transformed to a pre-emptive strike, you can now have a secondary role as a converter and reset tiles at the beginning of battle when needed.

Her final enhancement increases the chances of getting blue tiles. This is very useful if you need extra paths available. Combining her with another converter can increase your chances of maximizing the blue tiles that are available. Not only does this improve chain combo damage, but you will also improve your healing capabilities.
