Colossus Guide
More Alchemy Stars
As the new navigator that helps the Aurorians clear different battles, having a home base will be beneficial for everyone. Building your relationships with your Aurorians and using their talents for different tasks will help you in the long run.
In Alchemy Stars, you get to have the Colossus, a huge ship that houses all of your Aurorians. This base provides different functions, and you’re able to provide a bit of personalization through décor as well. In this page, we’ll provide you with the basics of the Colossus, as well as the different rooms that you’ll be able to find.
What is the Colossus?
How to Unlock: Clear Stage 1-10
The Colossus is unlocked after completing the stage near the end of episode 1. You’ll be able to reactivate the ship called the Colossus, and this will be your home base along with other Aurorians. The ship has different rooms available, and they have different functions that can provide you with benefits.
When starting out, you’ll get access to the Bridge, and this is the main room that will determine which other rooms that you’ll be able to unlock and improve. As you progress through the game’s story, you’ll be able to acquire items to make improvements to the Colossus, and you can even get some Colossus Upgrade Materials.
Bridge Functions
The main room that you’ll have access to at the start is the Bridge. This room will determine which other rooms that can be unlocked at the Colossus based on the upgrade level that you have. When starting out, you will have the Bridge at level 1.
You can upgrade the Bridge up to level 5, but the main material that you need is called a Central Plugin. This item can only be acquired as you progress through the game’s story. In order to maximize your Bridge level, you will need to collect four Central Plugins, and they can be acquired from the following stages:
Therefore, to get the maximum level of the Bridge, you will have to complete up to the end of Episode 8 of the game. Aside from the Centra Plugin, you will have to get Colossus Upgrade materials from the resource section while exploring.
How to unlock Rooms
A lot of the rooms of the Bridge can be unlocked by getting the proper Bridge level. Some of the rooms will show you the level requirement that you need in order to get them. Here are the ways for you to unlock all of the rooms at the Colossus:
Room | Requirements |
---|---|
Bridge | Unlocked at the beginning |
Lumina Grid 1 | Bridge Level 1 |
Lumina Grid 2 | Bridge Level 2 |
Lumina Grid 3 | Bridge Level 3 |
Lumina Grid 4 | Bridge Level 4 |
Prism Pillar | Bridge Level 1 |
Resource Station | Bridge Level 1 |
Exploration | Bridge Level 1 |
Dispatch Office | Bridge Level 2 |
Starlight Chamber | Bridge Level 3 |
Workshop | Bridge Level 4 |
Lounge | Talk to Vice on your Comm Device and finish dialogues |
Cafe | Talk to Angel on your Comm Device and finish dialogues |
Rec Room | Talk to Dove on your Comm Device and finish dialogues |
Bar | Talk to Zoya on your Comm Device and finish dialogues |
Take note that some of the rooms will require you to progress through the game’s story in order for your Aurorians to send you a message on your comm device. Eventually, you should be able to unlock all of them in time.
Mood and Decor
At the top of the Colossus interface, you’ll find a blue icon. This is the Mood points of the colossus, and this will make your Aurorians happy. Every now ant then, you’ll get to have interactions with your Aurorians, and you can get gifts such as Nightium and Lumamber.
As you improve the bridge, you’ll get to improve the mood. You can also increase the mood points by placing decorations on different rooms of the Colossus. You can get decorations by completing the game’s story and getting chapter rewards, and you can also get them from the Secret Store.
The Lounge, Cafe, Rec Room, and Bar are good places that you can put decorations in, since they have a lot of space available. This can let you customize the feel of your Colossus.
Lumina Grid
One of the first rooms that you can unlock after the Bridge is the Lumina grid. In order to maintain all of the rooms of the Colossus, you’ll need to provide it with power called Lumina. This is similar to having electricity load in real life that can support a building.
The Lumina Grid also helps recover fireflies, and they are required for different rooms. You can think of them as small workers, and some functions will require fireflies. As you unlock more Lumina Grid rooms, you’ll be able to provide more Lumina, as well as get enough fireflies that’s needed.
Prism Pillar
The Prism Pillar is a room that generates Prism for you. Prism is the game’s main source of Stamina, and a lot of stages in the game will require Prism in order for you to complete them. You usually restore stamina over time, but as you improve this room at the colossus, then you will be able to get extra.
Resource Station
The Resource Station is a room that ties with the Resource section from the Explore feature of the game. In order to unlock more stages from farming resources, you will need to improve the resource station as well.
Another benefit that you can get from the Resource Station are Carriers. This is a feature that you can toggle when farming resources that lets you double your rewards by doubling your Prism usage as well. This will save you some time when farming for resources.
Starlight Chamber
One of the ways for you to get stronger Aurorians is by providing them with Breakthrough levels. One of the materials that you need in order to do this are Heartstones, and they can be acquired each time you recruit Aurorians. However, you don’t get to recruit all the time, therefore you will want to have another source of Hearstones.
The Starlight Chamber provides this feature and it can store and generate Hearstones for you over time. This is a good passive way for you to get this material in case you’re not able to recruit at any given moment.
Exploration
The Exploration room ties itself with the Secret Territory feature of the game. That game mode doesn’t use Prisms in order to complete battles, but instead it will use MS. The Exploration room helps with the reset countdown of MS, as well as recovering them.
If you run out of MS, then you won’t be able to continue with completing stages from the Secret Territory. You will want to have as much MS as possible in order to get a lot of rewards so you can exchange them at the Secret Store.
Workshop
The Workshop is a room that you can use to create atomic reagents that can be used for smelting. Some items in the game can be hard to acquire, therefore you will want to craft them. The Workshop is a room that you will need in order to get the reagents needed.
Getting specific materials such as those for Ascension can get tedious, or perhaps you have excess of basic materials that you will want to convert. This room will help you out in getting stronger Aurorians through the improvements you can provide.
Dispatch Office
The Dispatch Office provides a feature for you to send out your Aurorians on timed expeditions in order to return with rewards. Different materials will be provided for you that you can aim for, and you can create different teams and wait for their return.
You will want to dispatch whenever possible, because not only do you get materials, but you can also get Nightium as well as extra Lumamber. Having all of your teams dispatched will provide you with a passive way of getting more freebies.
