In Alchemy Stars, being able to progress through the game's story and content is your main goal in order to succeed. In order to make sure that this is possible, you'll need to be able to form a team that will help you with your goals. Knowing which units in the game that are strong will help you out with deciding on who to aim for when building your team.
Welcome to our Alchemy Stars Tier list! In this page, we'll be providing you with a list of characters from 6-star and 5-star units so you'll have an idea of their capabilities. We'll be covering the importance of star ratings, and we'll be giving you two lists of tiers based on them. So, let's get started!
What are star ratings?
When checking out tier lists in Alchemy Stars, or any gacha game for that matter, you’ll want to be looking at a unit’s rating. Based on the game that you are playing, each character has a specific rating or ranking in terms of their rarity, which basically means that they are stronger based on a higher rate.
In Alchemy Stars, 6-Star Units are the must haves, then you can have your 5-Star Units as well. Generally, you’ll only use your 3-Star and 4-Star units when starting out, but you’ll want to recruit as much 6-Star Units as possible, and then have 5-Star Units as your secondary. With this in mind, our main tier list that we’ll be providing to you ranks characters belonging to 6-Stars and 5-Stars. Our elemental tier list will include up to 4-Stars as well.
Alchemy Stars 6-Star and 5-Star Units Tier List
This Alchemy Stars Tier list is based on the Japanese tier list, as well as various resources online which provide ranks for 6-Star and 5-Star rated units. We have compared and checked the different units and have formed this tier list from the information that we have gathered.
In the table below, you’ll be able to check the ranks of characters as well as their respective rating. The list below is ordered from highest to lowest rank, as well as by element. This way, you’ll be able to check which characters are good if you are aiming to recruit for them. You can also check our Reroll guide to see if you are new to the game.

The following tier list shows you all the potential Forest Units available in the game. Here, we show you units from 6-Star, 5-Star, and 4-Star ratings ranked from SSS as highest to D as the lowest. If you are aiming for a strong Forest Team, you’ll want to get SSS to S type of units.
In the Forest Element category, aiming for Migard is one of the best that you can pull. If you want an elemental team focused on this, then having this unit as part of your team will be beneficial for you.
