Alchemy Stars is a strategic roleplaying game featuring a diverse cast of characters that you can recruit. You might be wondering which units are viable, or perhaps you’ll want to get to know more about the potential of strong units. With different star ratings in the game, one of the best recruits that you can get are 6-Star characters.

There are four main elemental attributes that are available in Alchemy Stars. You can have attributes for Forest, Fire, Thunder, and Water. These have different 6-Star units that you can choose from. In this page, we’ll be checking more about the Fire attribute character named Jona.

Here, we’ll be checking out Jona’s profile, skills, equipment, and breakthrough bonuses. We hope that this page will help you out learn more about this character in case you will try to get them in your team. Let’s check what’s in store upon acquiring this character.

Rediesel Wrench
Primary Attribute
Secondary Attribute

Note: You might notice that the profile describes a secondary attribute. Whenever you recruit an Aurorian for the first time, you’ll be able to view their primary attributes only. The secondary attribute is only acquired once you have obtained the max level of Ascension. Legendary Aurorians come with their max ascension level however. We also didn’t include their Atk, Def, and HP since the values can change over time depending on the game updates.

In Alchemy Stars, Jona is a Fire unit with a Sniper role. As such, the skills that you’ll be able to obtain will let you attack enemies from a certain range which will help you out in clearing the stage. What makes Jona different from other Snipers is that their active skill provides them with a buff that will go hand in hand with their Chain Combo skill, therefore you will want to match a lot of red tiles as possible.

Active Skill
Enters Noon state, increasing Jona's Attack by 10% and Chain Combo damage by 30%, as well as reducing the combo-triggering tile count of Fire Aurorians by 2 for 2 rounds.
Skill Cooldown
3 Rounds
Chain Combo (4 tiles)
Deals 155% damage to 3 enemies within 2 surrounding clusters.
Chain Combo (8 tiles)
Deals 160% damage to 3 enemies within 3 surrounding clusters.
Chain Combo (13 tiles)
Deals 175% damage to 4 enemies within 3 surrounding clusters.

As you see in Jona’s skill set, her active skill lets her enter the Noon State. This buffs her regular attack and chain combo skills which deal a lot of damage on surrounding clusters. Thanks to the buff, you’ll also be able to lower tile requirements for combos for Fire Aurorians. This means that she is a very good addition to mono fire teams, especially when going to the Spire.

In order to maximize Jona’s abilities, you will want to have as much red tiles as possible. Being able to partner up with Fire Converters will help you in dealing the best damage. If your team is filled with Fire attributes, they will all benefit with reduced combo tiles, so they will be able to deal more damage if you’re able to link a lot.

Equipment Skill
When in the Noon state, increases the damage of normal attacks by 20% and normal attacks deal 50% splash damage to all targets in 4 tiles in a cross shape around the enemy.

Jona’s equipment skill enhances the Noon state buff. Not only do you get more damage from regular attacks, but you’ll also be able to deal area damage with them, which increases your damage output especially if enemies are grouped together.

With the enhanced Noon state, you should be able to mix strong regular attacks, as well as reduced tile count requirement for fire Aurorians. If you have other strong Fire units that have good combo skills, then having Jona with you will be very beneficial.

Breakthrough Bonuses

Breakthrough 1
HP increased by 300.
Breakthrough 2
DEF increased by 40.
Breakthrough 3
Active Skill Enhancement: Changes Active Skill to Preemptive Strike. Available upon entering combat.
Breakthrough 4
Increased by 300+5% Basic max HP.
Breakthrough 5
Increased by 40+5% Basic DEF.
Breakthrough 6
Active Skill Enhancement: Increases ATK by 5%.

Providing Jona with breakthrough enhancements provides her with a stronger active skill. Now, you’ll be able to activate the Noon state at the start of battle, and you’ll be able to increase the attack bonus further. This will maximize the possible damage you can deal, especially if you have a lot of red tiles.

With Jona’s skill set, having 2 Converters will be really useful on your team. Getting to finish the Fire tower of the Spire will also be easier for you thanks to the capabilities that Jona can provide. As long as there are red tiles you can chain, then you should be good to go.

We hope that this page has helped you learn more about Jona in Alchemy Stars. We also have other pages regarding the other 6-Star units in this game, so please don’t forget to check them out. You can also check our Alchemy Stars Tier list to see which units can be useful when creating your team.
