In order to unlock the Training Area, you need to complete Chapter 2 in the story mode. The training area is a place for you to strengthen your team, as well as getting items to improve your sync pairs.

To access it, press "Explore" then "Training Area". Here, you'll find different Courses, as well as Super Courses. Difficulties range from Normal, Hard, and Very Hard. You can use any team that you have, but make sure to check the type advantage before challenging them.

Tip: The higher the difficulty you've completed, the better items that you can get.

What's the Training Area in Pokemon Masters?

Types of Courses

Level-Up Course: This course provides good exp in order for you to level up your sync pairs. This is great for catching up low leveled sync pairs, or if you want to max out your level cap. Aside from the exp you gain, you also get level up manuals which can be used to instantly provide exp for a sync pair.

Strike Course: This course lets you fight against strike sync pairs. Once you've completed them, you'll get different varieties of Buff Blends as well as Training Machines. These items are used for increasing your Strike Sync Pair's level cap, as well as learning new moves.

Tech Course: This course lets you fight against strike sync pairs. Once you've completed them, you'll get different varieties of Tech Tonics as well as Training Machines. These items are used for increasing your Tech Sync Pair's level cap, as well as learning new moves.

Support Course: This course lets you fight against support sync pairs. Once you've completed them, you'll get different varieties of Aid Ades as well as Training Machines. These items are used for increasing your Support Sync Pair's level cap, as well as learning new moves.

What are Supercourses?

Supercourses are more challenging versious of regular courses, and they have limited number of tries that you can use to complete and get refreshed after a time period. They're great with providing experience, as well as the amount of rewards that you get.

Do take note that the higher difficulties recommend a team power usually of 20,000 or more. It's best to complete these supercourses only if you're capable with the proper team composition. There are also special types of supercourses such as the Coin Supercourse that provide Pearls that you can sell.
