Pokemon Masters continually adds different characters. This list will provide Sync Pairs from different potentials that you can choose from. Here, we have the different Strike (Special) Sync Pairs that are beneficial to have (in no particular order)

Blue and Mega Pidgeot

A great special strike sync pair with getting benefits from Mega Evolution, Blue and Pidgeot are one of the fastest Special Srikers with decent defenses. You can increase your Special Attack with X Sp. Atk. For damaging moves, you have Air Cutter which enables you to land critical hits easier. You also get access to hurricane which will never miss if there’s rain. Not only does this deal damage, you can also confuse opponents. Using the move “Smell Ya Later”, you can increase your evasion, accuracy, and critical hit rate. This is mostly needed since both of his damaging moves don’t have perfect accuracy.

Karen and Mega Houndoom

Karen and Mega Houndoom have well rounded stats thanks to Mega Evolution. They have decent special attack, very fast speed, and rounded defenses. Their offensive moves (Snarl and Dark Pulse) can also act as Tech moves since they lower opponent’s Special Attack, or Flinch. They can increase their critical-hit rate with Dire Hit +. They also have access to “Entertain Me!” which increases your Special Attack depending on how low your HP is (up to 6 increase at 33% hp). Their special attack can’t compare to Blue and Mega Pidgeot though, so you can treat this sync pair as part Tech.

Barry and Empoleon

Barry and Empoleon not only provides special attack damage, but they can withstand opponent attacks with their decent defenses and bulk. Bubble hits all opponents and it can lower their speed, and you also gain access to Full Heal which removes status conditions. Bubble Beam can also lower the opponent’s attack speed, and has a low move gauge requirement. Using “No Hesitation!” increases your speed and critical hit rate. They’re great for secondary damage and AoE damage, taking opponents bit by bit.

Hau and Raichu (Alolan Form)

Hau and Raichu are able to deal area of effect damage, as well as paralyze opponents. Use X Sp. Atk to sharply raise your special attack power. Thundershock if as fast move that may cause paralysis, while Discharge hits all opponents and can also paralyze opponents. With the move “Feel the Alolan Breeze!” you can drastically raise your speed and evasiveness; thus you can deal discharge faster. Be careful though since Raichu doesn’t have the best defenses, and is best paired with support Pokemon that can protect it.

Gardenia and Roserade

A Special Strike sync pair with good Special Attack and Special defense, they can revert any stat changes for their own advantage. Dire Hit+ sharply increases your critical-hit rate, which helps with Absorb if you choose to use it for recovering HP. Leaf Storm provides high damage but it will sharply lower your special attack, this can be used to their advantage though with their move “Trust in Nature!”. This move increases your move gauge by two, and inverts the stat change that was lowered. Be careful though since they have relatively low defense.

Shauntal and Chandelure

This sync pair can burn opponents and increase their own damage based on that. With X Sp. Atk, you can sharply raise your Special Attack stat. Use the move “A Tale of Triumph!” to drastically raise your speed and evasiveness, as well as burning opponents. Once they’re burned, use Hex which deals double damage as long as opponents are afflicted by a status infliction. There may be other stronger special strike pairs, however Shauntal and Chandelure can be used in case you have limited options.

Flint and Infernape

Flint and Infernape are able to deal damage as well as burn opponents by chance. Use Dire Hit to increase your critical-hit rate and pair it with “We’re on Fire” to sharply increase your Attack and Special attack. You can have access to a physical attack though Fire Punch, or special attack through Fire Blast. Infernape has equal stats to both of these thus providing versatility, however their defenses may not be the best.

Siebold and Clawitzer

Siebold and Clawitzer can deal damage as well as support itself with healing. They can boost their damage with X Sp. Atk, and then have access to water or fighting moves through Aura Sphere and Water Pulse. Both moves have similar attack power as well, but moderate damage. Using the move “Definition of Art!” restores your HP by a bit, and you’ll land a critical hit on the next move. This provides healing over time as well. They aren’t burst damage therefore they’re good for longer standing battles that you can survive through.

Clair and Kingdra

Clair and Kindra have well rounded stats, they can move faster if they’re under the rain. Increase your damage with X Sp. Atk, then deal high damage by following up with Draco Meteor which will lower your special attack after. Dragon Breath can paralyze opponents, making it easier for your to land moves faster. Use the move “Victory is Mine!” to revert your lowered stats back to normal, as well as increasing your critical-hit rate. However, this move will also negate any stat increases from X Sp. Atk so be careful.
