Combat is an integral part of Heroes War: Counterattack. Aside from standard mechanics of dealing damage and healing, the game includes various buffs and debuffs that will help determine the flow of battle and strategy needed to win. Obviously, you’ll want buffs to be applied to your team and debuffs applied to the enemy team. Buffs and debuffs are not equal however; some debuffs can cause severe and immediate negative effects, prompting you to take quick action. Enhancing Effects
These are buffs that can be applied to your team, giving them beneficial and positive effects for the duration of battle. These buffs can be applied by support characters, mercenary effects, or even equipment or card effects. As mentioned earlier, you'll always want enhancing effects applied to your team to give them an edge in combat.Inability Effect
Inability effects are special status effects that can alter the target's behavior. There's only a handful of them but can be relatively useful when used against enemies or devastating if inflicted on your team. Keep an eye out for these effects.Weakening Effect
