Heroes War: Counterattack Guide
Heroes War: Counterattack has various modes for players to take part in, usually providing useful rewards. Mercenaries Mission is one of such contents in the game where you can farm Neostones. In this page, we will discuss the basics of the Mercenaries Mission and how it can help powering up your team.
There are two types of mercenary missions: Search and Occupation. You must collect all Neostone boxes placed in each mission to succeed. The actual screen is composed of different nodes, divided into combat nodes and neostone nodes. The former will require you to win the battle in order to pass through or select other nodes while the latter contains the Neostone boxes that you need to pick up.
The rage bar and HP consumed during each battle are saved. At the end of each battle, you’ll recover a certain amount of HP and Rage. Each mission can only be challenged once a day and the number of challenges resets daily at midnight.
If a mercenary is defeated and you’ve cleared the battle, that fallen mercenary can’t be used for the entire run. The mercenary can only be used again if you quit the mission and start from the beginning. As such, only carry properly-leveled and properly-equipped mercenaries.
Search
You have to complete the previous mission level in order to unlock the next one. After collecting all Neostone Boxes and defeating the boss, the mission will be successful. There are 9 levels of difficulty.
Occupation
This option is unlocked after reaching story Chapter 20. Similar to Search, you also have to complete the previous mission level in order to unlock the next one. After collecting all Neostone Boxes and defeating the boss, the mission will be successful. There are 7 levels of difficulty. In Occupation, you can only attack the areas around the cleared areas. If you challenge the boss without clearing any nearby areas, additional enemies will join the battle.
